Creating your account
On the sign-up page, pick the card that matches you: Student, Private tutor, or Parent. (Teacher and school accounts aren't self-serve — your school sets those up for you.) If you're joining through a class invitation link, this step is skipped and your account is created as a student automatically.
Enter your email and choose a password with at least 8 characters, upper and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol. If Google, Microsoft, or Apple sign-in is turned on, you can use "Continue with Google" (or Microsoft, or Apple) instead — this always creates a student account, since the role picker isn't part of that path.
Confirm your email
Every new account needs a confirmed email before it can sign in. After you sign up, we send a confirmation link — open it within a few days, before it expires. Didn't get it? Check your spam folder, then use "Send the link again" on the confirmation page. If you ask for another link right after the first one, wait a minute before trying again.
If the waiting list is on
Some periods only let people in a few at a time. If sign-up sends you to a waiting list instead of the sign-up form, see Requesting access from the waiting list — you'll get a personal sign-up link by email once you're approved.
Already have an account? Sign in instead. Trouble signing in? See Signing in & password help.
