Requesting access from the waiting list

This only applies while the waiting list is turned on. If you can already open the sign-up page and create an account directly, you can skip this — the waiting list only appears when new sign-ups are being let in a few at a time.

Requesting access

On the waiting list page, enter your email, your name (optional), and which of these best describes you: Student, Private tutor, or Parent. Select "Request access" to join the list.

You'll land on a confirmation page either way, whether this is your first request or you'd already requested access before — so submitting again if you're not sure won't cause a problem.

Once you're approved

When a spot opens up, you'll get an email with a personal sign-up link made just for your address. Opening it takes you to the sign-up page with your email already filled in and locked — you just choose your role and password from there. See Creating your account for the rest of the sign-up steps.

There's no separate status page to check — the approval email is the notification. If it's been a while and you haven't heard back, check your spam folder before contacting us.
