Taking your first lesson

Lesson 1 of 4

What you'll do in this lesson: - Locate courses assigned by your teacher, tutor, or parent - Open a lesson and explore the card-based learning view - Submit answers and get instant feedback - Save and exit without losing your place

Open your assigned courses

Select Courses in the main navigation. Your course library displays every course currently assigned to you by your teacher, tutor, or parent.

Courses you have not started yet display a Start Learning button. If you have already begun working on a course, the button updates to Continue Learning.

Start learning and navigate cards

Click Start Learning on your course card to open the interactive lesson player. Each lesson is presented as an interactive sequence of bite-sized cards:

  • Concept cards introduce new ideas, definitions, or visual examples.
  • Question cards test your understanding with multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, or interactive matching checks.

Read through the card material, then answer the question presented at the bottom of the card.

Submit answers and check your work

Select your answer and click Continue to check your work and advance to the next card.

  • If your answer is correct, you will earn points and progress immediately.
  • If you miss a question, click Try again to review the prompt and submit another answer.

Tip. If you get stuck on an exercise, you don't need to guess. Select Ask the tutor on the right side of the screen for guided hints.

Save and exit anytime

You never have to finish an entire lesson in one sitting. Click Save & exit in the upper corner whenever you need a break. Your progress is saved automatically with every card you answer, so when you return, you will pick up exactly where you left off.
